AFAB launches IOSS
The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) recently launched its Immigration One-Stop-Shop (IOSS) to ensure immediate processing, stamping and issuance of FAB locators’ visa. Joining AFAB and Bureau of Immigration (BI) officials for the IOSS Launch were guests of honor Bataan Governor Enrique “Tet” Garcia and Congressman Albert Garcia of the 2nd District of Bataan.
AFAB signs JMO, MOA and IRR with BI and DOLE
The Authority of the Freeport of Bataan Chairman Deogracias P. Custodio signed the Joint Memorandum Order, Memorandum of Agreement, and Implementing Rules and Regulations along with the Bureau of Immigration OIC Ronaldo P. Ledesma and Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz, at the Bureau of Immigration Main Office in Intramuros, Manila.
The signing is another milestone in the transition of the former Bataan Economic Zone into the AFAB. The signing of the JMO, MOA and IRR will facilitate a more efficient procedure for work permits and visas for foreign nationals working with AFAB locators. It will also serve as the foundation of the one-stop shop that the AFAB seeks to establish to service its locators.
